If you would like to &#8216;tip&#8217; me, please contact me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"731\" height=\"721\" src=\"https:\/\/podge.network\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/podge.network\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image.png 731w, https:\/\/podge.network\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-300x296.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hey everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plex.tv\/blog\/important-2025-plex-updates\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.plex.tv\/blog\/important-2025-plex-updates\/\">Plex recently announced<\/a> that it is increasing the price of it&#8217;s Plex Pass, a subscription to unlock <em>very<\/em> optional features is being increased from $120 for a lifetime subscription to $250.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, and more importantly, they are locking the ability to allow people to stream from the server behind Plex Pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-max-60-font-size\"><strong>This affects Podgeflix!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By April 29th 2025, one of the following must happen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Either I have to pay for a Plex Pass, which will allow everyone to use Podgeflix.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or you can pay for Plex Pass yourself and have access to Podgeflix.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is enshittification by Plex and as of right now, I am not inclined to pay for this Plex Pass.
